چکیده

The pattern of (13)C and (1)H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) shift changes produced by complexation of cobalt and nickel acetylacetonates with amines and alcohols indicates that there is more than one mode of operation of the contact interaction. A large effect with alternating signs is important at the alpha and beta carbons, but this effect seems to be overlaid by another influence that appears to fall off monotonically as one proceeds away from the site of complexation.

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Shift Reagents: Abnormal C Shifts Produced by Complexation of Lanthanide Chelates with Saturated Amines and n-Butyl Isocyanide.

Lanthanide-induced shfits of (13)C nuclear magnetic resonances are reported for several amines and n-butyl isocyanide. Contact contributions to such shifts, especially of beta carbons, are clearly important for the chelates of Eu(+3) and Pr(+3). The importance of contact terms is shown to change in a rather predictable manner with the structure of the amine.

High-Density Lipoprotein Measurement Methods: From Precipitation to Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)

Introduction: Extensive research suggests a common hypothesis regarding the protective role of total high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) against cardiovascular disease (CVD). This hypothesis indicates an inverse relationship between CVD and high HDL-C levels. Various mechanisms, such as reverse cholesterol transport, besides anti-inflammatory and antioxidant functions, indicate HDL-C a...

تثبیت کبالت و کادمیم در رس‌های خاک به کمک انرژی حرارتی

Environmental pollution is one of the major problems for humans and animals. Radioactive wastes and heavy metals are important sources of pollution. Recent studies suggest that soil and geomedia have a high potential for the disposal of radioactive wastes and heavy metals. The clay minerals in geomedia can act as a barrier against radioactive wastes and heavy metals. However, enough information...

1H chemical shifts in NMR: Part 23, the effect of dimethyl sulphoxide versus chloroform solvent on 1H chemical shifts.

The 1H chemical shifts of 124 compounds containing a variety of functional groups have been recorded in CDCl3 and DMSO-d6 (henceforth DMSO) solvents. The 1H solvent shift Delta delta = delta(DMSO) - delta(CDCl3) varies from -0.3 to +4.6 ppm. This solvent shift can be accurately predicted (rms error 0.05 ppm) using the charge model of alpha, beta, gamma and long-range contributions. The labile p...

The zinc chromium ferrite magnetic nanoparticles ZnCrFeO4: An efficient catalyst for acetylation of alcohols, phenols and amines under solvent-free conditions

In this study, the zinc chromium ferrite magnetic nanoparticles ZnCrFeO4 are synthesized via sol-gel method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The XRD analysis showed that ZnCrFeO4 has single-phase cubic structure. The synthesized ZnCrFeO4 has been used as an efficient catalyst for acetyl...
